Please do NOT visit this site on Shabbat or on a Yom Tov (Feasts)!

Please Note: On this page I may show the four letter blessed *“Memorial Name” of the Almighty in Ivrit -  - Y-H-V-H, which we usually pronounce as “Adonai” or “HaShem. At all times treat the most blessed Name with Sanctity and when we even see the Name, we should say “blessed be His Sanctified Name.”

*This is My Name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.” Shemot - Exodus 3:15.

Who is Our Saviour?

I, even I, AM ; and beside Me there is no saviour!” Yeshayahu - Isaiah 43:11

On this site I will mostly use a version based on the “Jewish Publication Society” Tanakh

(JPS with some corrections made)

With Rabbi Reuven Ben-Avraham

 - Y-H-V-H is my “My Saviour, My Salvation, and Redeemer”

This is not a study where I write my thoughts in regard what I am conveying regarding the subject I am presenting, and the subject is rather obvious. And it is one that should be obvious to us all, but there is one point that is most vital, and in a way some of us have forgotten who our Elohim really is, for we will call Him ‘HaShem’, ‘Adonai’, and worse still, a very long time ago something was introduced in Europe, which was very wrong, and we adopted an erroneous word, and we commenced to sadly use a pagan word for our beloved Creator and commenced to call Him ‘God’. Now you may attack me here, but it was introduced very late considering our Hebraic timeline, yes believe it or not, it was ‘christendom’ who gave it to us, well let’s give it back to them!

We need to understand that this pagan word is clearly shown in the Torah and Tanakh, that it is actually the name of a pagan deity.

Like so many erroneous things in the old days, certain rabbis have introduced it and we even were made to honour this pagan god by writing it with great honour like this ‘G-d’. “What! Treat a pagan evil deity with honour?” What have we gotten in too? Thus, I will use only the writings directly taken from the Torah and the rest of the Tanakh to make the point of who our Elohim is, and who and what He is!

PS: I have studies online that will detail the above in full detail, using only what is in our Torah and Tanakh literally it will prove what I have stated above, there is also a link at the bottom of this page to one of the studies.

Tehillim - Psalms 95:1-3 (JPS).

“O come, let us sing unto ; let us shout for joy to the Rock of our Salvation.

 made the heavens.
Honour and Majesty are before Him; strength and beauty are in His Sanctuary”

“For Thou delightest not in sacrifice, else would I give it; Thou hast no pleasure in burnt-offering” Verse 18

The sacrifices of Elohim are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O Elohim, Thou wilt not despise!” Verse 19

Seemingly Dovid - David at that time somehow was not aware that he was “Under the Law!” Did he not know that he had to earn his Salvation by living and doing right, living according to Elohim’s Law’s and following His Torah?

(Ok, some may say – ‘Whose idea is this ‘under the law stuff?’ This concept certainly does not come from the teaching of how to live by (Torah) as given through Moshe - Moses! Salvation was always granted to the repentant and contrite person as an act of ’s ‘Loving Kindness,’ ‘Unmerited Favour’ and ‘Steadfast Love.’

It is best to simply live right, pray daily, read the Torah and the Neviim - Prophets (Tanakh) daily and your life will be greatly enriched!

Thus why not make your life as fulfilling, meaningful, and filled with joy as possible and pick up your Tanakh each day and discover something new every single day! You will be surprised how exciting His Word really is, and how much we will be able to learn about ourselves!

In Conclusion:

I am well aware this has been a rather epic study, with a huge amount of verses to get through, but as you know, I never tend to quote rabbinic writings to make a point, for only the Word of Our Blessed Creator is worth while for we know His Words are 100% Truth!

Please remember our motto seen on the logo at the top of this page: “The More Torah, the More Life”, for  Elohim, blessed be His Sanctified Name, is the one who gave us our Life!
